Parties
The terms laid out in the following agreement shall constitute the entire agreement between the band members listed below, or the legally authorized representative of this group, referred to as "Artist" on one hand and Riff Play on the other.
Non-Exclusive
Nothing in this agreement will limit the right for either party to from any business agreement with any third party.
Distribution
Riff play agrees to list the songs provided by the Artist within the Riff Play music store and selected of these songs within the Riff Play games. The Artist agrees to license the necessary master recordings they own and/or control to Riff Play under the terms and conditions of this agreement.
The Artist grants to Riff Play the non-exclusive rights to master, encode, distribute, and sell the recordings throughout the world according to the terms laid out below.
Riff Play has no obligation to promote or distribute the recordings in any particular manner, or in any minimum quantity. Sales of your recordings are not guaranteed.
Payment
Riff Play will pay the Artist 90% of the net profit from the sales of your recordings under this agreement. This payment includes all other royalties or payments associated with the recording.
Riff Play will distribute payment to the Artist on a monthly basis, and within 30 days after the end of each monthly period. Payments will be made to a Paypal account specified by the Artist.
Artist Responsibilities
The Artist grants to Riff Play the right to use your name(s), professional name(s), group name(s), photographs, images, likenesses of you, biographical, and other information.
The Artist agrees to provide copies of the recording to Riff Play in a format that is acceptable to Riff Play for the intended use of the recording.
The Artist is responsible for all licensing, reporting, and payment obligations related to the recordings and the use of the recordings under this agreement. You warrant that the recordings are the Artists original music and lyrics, and do not contain sampled material, or other copyrighted material which the Artist has not obtained permission to use as outlined in this agreement from the copyright owner.
You agree to be bound by the Riff Play Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Term
This agreement will be in effect until explicitly concluded by either Riff Play or the Artist after giving 30 days notice on the Riff Play website.
